Your artist will apply a protective wrap after your session using Mamba Glide. Keep this wrap on for the amount of time your artist recommends—typically 2 to 24 hours depending on the tattoo’s size and placement.

Once you remove the wrap, wash your hands first. Then use lukewarm water and a gentle, fragrance-free soap to carefully wash away any plasma, ink, and ointment. Don’t scrub—just use your fingertips.

Gently pat (don’t rub) your tattoo dry using a clean paper towel or let it air dry completely. Avoid using bath towels which can harbor bacteria.

After the tattoo is fully dry, apply a small amount of ointment to keep the area moisturized. (We recommend Hustle Butter CBD for best results) A little goes a long way—too much can suffocate the tattoo and delay healing.

Continue washing your tattoo gently once or twice a day and applying Hustle Butter CBD for the next 7–14 days. Your tattoo may peel or flake like a sunburn—this is normal. Do not pick or scratch.

Stay out of pools, hot tubs, and baths until your tattoo is fully healed. Avoid direct sunlight and wear loose, breathable clothing to prevent irritation.

Some redness, swelling, and tenderness is normal, but if you notice excessive heat, pus, or a foul odor, contact your artist or a healthcare provider.
